How do I get directions to Monsoon Lagoon Water Park?

Monsoon Lagoon Water Park is located off of Rte. 2 on Rte. 269 North in Marblehead, OH. For specific directions click directions.

What is the price of the water park admission?

The price of admission varies. All day admission price for adults and children $15.95 Two (2) years and under FREE.

How much do you charge for go-carts, water bumper boats and miniature golf?

They are priced separately at $5.00 per ride

Do you accept the Golden Buckeye Card?

Yes. Please present your card before your ticket purchase

Do you offer group rates?

Yes. We offer group rates for 20 or more guests. For information on groups please click group rates.

Do you have overnight accommodations?

Monsoon Lagoon does not offer accommodations, however, we have several area hotels, campgrounds, and bed and breakfasts in the area. For information, Accommodations.

Do you have any special deals?

Yes. We offer Moms, Pops and Tots Mondays & Wednesdays. Arrive from 11am-3pm and stay all day. Mom and Dad pay regular price and the tot (12 years and under) is free! One child per parent/grandparent.

What kind of swimwear is allowed at the park?

Appropriate swimwear for a family water park is required. No cut-offs or swimwear with buttons, snaps or buckles allowed on the rides.

What time does the mid-day water park admission rate begin?

The water park offers a discount beginning at 3:00 p.m.

How can I pay for admission?

We accept cash, and major credit cards, VISA, Mastercard, and Discover.

Are there height requirements on any of the rides?

Go Karts: 54" to operate alone, under 54" must ride with an adult

Bumper Boats: 48" to operate alone, under 48" must ride with an adult.

Coral Reef River Ride: 40" to ride alone, under 40" must wear approved Life Jacket and ride with an adult.

Typhoon Rush Slide Tower: 42" to ride. 42"-48" must wear approved Life Jacket.

Do I still have to pay if I’m not going to get in the water?

Yes.

Where can I get discount coupons or tickets?

Throughout the summer, we partner with businesses and offer discount tickets. Please click Discounted Tickets for further information. Discount coupons can be acquired through OhioCoupons.com under family fun entertainment.

Do you have life jackets and where do I get them?

We have a number of life jackets available for rent for $2.50 at the Surf Shop. Guests are also encouraged to bring their own USGA Approved Life Jackets, if they like.

What about Birthday Parties?

Can I bring a picnic?

Picnics and coolers are not allowed as well as any outside food. Monsoon Lagoon offers a concession stand with very reasonable prices.

Where are the best places to go with a toddler?

Your toddler will love the Adventure Island Tree house-a 34-foot tall interactive play center. Toddlers can also enjoy the Lil’ Squirts Play Pool.

What if there’s bad weather on the day of my visit?

Monsoon Lagoon issues rain checks on full day admissions only in the event of closure of the facility. Paid receipt or current day ticket stub must be presented for rain checks.

What else is there to do at Monsoon Lagoon Water Park?

We have Gilligan’s Arcade with the most exciting video arcade games, 18-hole miniature golf course, water bumper boats and one of the largest go-kart tracks in Ohio-the Montego Bay Raceway with a quarter mile go-kart track featuring a bridge and two underpasses.

When’s the best time to come to Monsoon Lagoon Water Park?

To avoid crowds, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays are our slowest days of the week.

What about water safety?

Monsoon Lagoon Water Park is staffed with nationally-certified lifeguards and ride attendants as well as emergency medical technicians. Ride safety rules are posted at each pool and attraction. We urge parents to teach kids about water safety before you visit.

The Centers for Disease Control provides the following six “P-L-E-A S E” for parents:
1. PLEASE don’t swim when you have diarrhea, especially for kids in diapers.
2. PLEASE don’t swallow the pool water.
3. PLEASE wash your hands with soap and water after using the toilet or after changing.
4. PLEASE take your kids on bathroom breaks often.
5. PLEASE change diapers in a bathroom and not at poolside.
6. PLEASE wash your child thoroughly with soap and water before swimming.

Is there shade?

Shaded seating is available throughout the park, but we urge everyone to protect delicate skin with sunscreen, hats, beach footwear, and lightweight shirts. Sunscreen and T-shirts are available for purchase at the Surf Shop

Do you have changing facilities?

Yes. Changing facilities are located in the main restroom/locker area. Regular diapers are not permitted in any pool or water attraction. Swim diapers are available in the Surf Shop.

What about my valuables?

Lockers are available for 75 cents at the Surf Shop

What about parking?

We offer FREE parking.
